LPN Primary Responsibilities
As an LPN, you will help provide for the daily care, health, safety, and comfort of our residents. Responsibilities include:
- Providing compassionate nursing care to residents
- Completing professional assessments and documentation
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitoring residents for changes in condition
- Communicating with physicians, families, and members of the interdisciplinary team
- Assisting with the supervision and management of nursing staff on the assigned unit
- Following facility policies, procedures, and infection-control practices
- Helping create a positive environment for residents and fellow team members
